For the price,  you couldn't get anything better.  The color and quality of the fabric are spot on compared to the website.  Assembly was a breeze, given I used a drill with a hex bit to speed the process.  With the provided Allen wrench, assembly would have taking a year. LOL

Affordable style and quality

Great bed! Takes a bit of time to assemble but worth it.

Great midcentury modern bed

It looks very modern, the material quality is good and it is pretty sturdy. I am very happy with the purchase. It might be hard to assemble without an electric screwdriver, I highly recommend using that because you are using around 60 screws.

Nice quality

Great bed. Not too complicated to assemble. The frame is quite sturdy and doesn't make any noise. I've had it for a couple weeks now and couldn't be happier with it.

A few things to be aware of:
1. You have to learn to be careful with the protruding edges or else you'll destroy your shins. This isn't as annoying as it sounds but you should probably warn your guests.
2. The headboard, while feeling secure, probably shouldn't be bearing a ton of weight, given the leverages of the piece.
3. The middle of the frame that consists of empty space and slats is slightly larger than a typical queen mattress. If you have a comforter or a thick blanket over the bottom, it shoudn't be a problem, but otherwise you might have to shift the mattress slightly towards the foot of the bed to keep the space covered.

These are very minor points and overall I'm quite happy with the bed. I spent quite a while looking for a decent frame at a good price, and I'd honestly say I think this bed is worth more than many others I saw that were over twice the price.

For reference, the mattress in my picture is 11'' thick.

Same quality as beds that are 4x the price. Looks great, sturdy. Im glad I had a friend to help me assemble, Im not that handy, but it was pretty easy.

Value and style

Gorgeous bed!  It truly looks like it cost 10 times what it did. I honestly can't get over how well engineered this is.  And it was extremely well packaged. The color is spot on to the picture, so I don't know what the other reviewers stating that it was black are talking about. It's a dark charcoal heathered grey. I was worried it would get damaged in route to me but it was wrapped and padded so it's in perfect condition.   My one complaint, which is shared by others, about the legs.  They are a most hideous cheap looking gold tone. The color is very mid-century modern, but ugly. I spray painted the legs on mine black before I assembled the bed. But overall I highly recommend this bed. It's less than $200 and worth much more than that.

Gorgeous bed is a great value - order it!

I never write reviews. But this bed was easy to put together. The instructions are simple to follow along. However, it does take time. It took me 2.5 hours roughly. I'm not a quick builder though lol. Arrival time was sooner than anticipated, which is always nice. Bed came in two different boxes. The bottom corner of the headboard, the upholstery is slightly teared I'm assuming due to traveling. The box was pretty beaten up upon arrival. Upon assembly, there were two plates (part: N) that belonged on both corners of the foot part of the bed but were unable to be properly screwed in because the holes drilled into the wood were off and not in the spots they needed to be to have the screwed sit in flushed. Where the screws were supposed to be aligned, they were not. Per plate is supposed to have 2 screws, but you can only screw one per plate in-i hope that makes sense. However, once the bed is put together, it does not effect the structural integrity. Overall, happy with my purchase. Can't expect perfection with man-made items lol.

Navy Blue-Gorgeous Bed

While this bed was a good purchase for the price point and is nice and sturdy, I wish I had gone with something else. The legs on this piece are brown metal, I didn't realize when purchasing and though they were wood. They are sturdy but look cheap in person. As another reviewer pointed out it is VERY easy to destroy your shins on the edge of this bed. The headboard section of the bed feels cheap and I hate that my queen mattress doesn't cover the slats even though I purchased the queen sized bed. Assembly wasn't too hard but was time consuming. In the process of assembling we had to destroy some of the boxes to get pieces out which made us unable to return. We will likely sell on craigslist and get something else

Delivery was delayed for many days so I was very happy to just assemble it and get to sleepin, but right before I was to put on the headboard, I realized that it was smashed in on one side. At that point I was too frustrated to take it apart and attempt to return it, so it has been bent throughout its whole time with me. I attempted to bend it back into place with mediocre results. 

Once assembled, I took a seat on the edge of it and heard a big crack. The slat right under me was shearing apart presumably due to the bending process they use to add springiness and stability. That, I assumed, was a problem that arose from using cheap wood.

Several months later (more cracking noises had already been heard at this point as time progressed), me and my partner fell right down to the ground as a whole section gave way beneath us. The slats were rendered unusable and the mattress was put on the ground inside the frame where it stands to this day.

I am now shopping for a new bed frame, and I won't be buying this brand again.

During the usable portions of its lifetime I loved the style of the bed and the quality of upholstery, hence the two stars instead of one.
