My husband purchase this dishwasher about a week ago and use it ever day, great product. We were surprised to know that it fit perfect underneath the cabinets and look nice on my counter top. this dishwasher was easy to hook up and it runs really quiet, it's the right size for a small family. I like the way it cleans my dishes and the sparkle it leaves. I would highly recommend this product.

Great dishwasher.

I paid $199.99 for this unit and it was the best decision I made. I live in an apartment and my kitchen is small so there isn't any room for a real full sized dishwasher. It works great but I will note that you must make sure it is leveled or else it will leak water from door seam. I'm sure the book says that but I've seen multiple reviews that have complained of water leaking, that's probably it. Next I didn't want to do the faucet hookup it came with so I decided to do a permanent install the way you would with a regular dishwasher. I'm a DIY with no previous experience except YouTube and some reading online. Everything works perfectly and I don't have to worry about turning on water everytime to run dishwasher. In case you are wondering how I did it. I'll explain but understand your pipes and situation may be different than mine. If you don't feel comfortable doing it pay a plumber. I don't want to be responsible for any damage or issues you may have with your landlord or warranty on machine. Do this at your own risk. I use 1 full wrap of plumbers tape overlapping by about 1/4 of the way of another full wrap on all THREADED connections unless otherwise noted. I used a 1 ½" hole saw drill bit to drill holes in cabinets to run supply line and drain line under sink. I also needed a 1 ⅜" hole saw to drill extra hole in sink for the Air Gap. You can choose to do a high loop.

For the water line - I used a 3/8" dishwasher supply line kit with one 3/4" garden hose (female hose thread) swivel elbow adapter connected to the water inlet port on Magic Chef. The other end hooks up to my 1/2" MIP x 1/2" FIP x 3/8" MIP tee where hot line water valve sits.
The drain is more complicated but I used a 1/2" FIP elbow that hooks up to the drain inlet on Magic Chef. Use at least 4 wraps of plumbers tape or else it will leak. Don't use too much or threads will not contact correctly also allowing leaks to occur. Now here's the hard part this needs to spin all the way until you can't see the inlet valve threads anymore but do this carefully and slowly as you can damage plastic threads or worse break the plastic port on Magic Chef. I felt like it wouldn't go anymore but it would leak so I had to do about 2 - 3 full extra turns until it finally stopped leaking but that's because I was afraid of overtightening and stripping it. Now I used a 1/2" MIP to 5/8" hose barb. I hooked up 1" OD x 5/8" ID washing machine/dishwashing discharge hose to Air Gap. Then the 7/8" connection from Air Gap to garbage disposal port using a 1 ¼" OD x 7/8" ID garbage disposal drain hose. I used 3/4" - 1 ¾" clamps on all barb connections (total of 4).
Make sure the garbage disposal plug has been knocked out before connecting it otherwise it will not drain. Hope this helps and should give you a good idea as to how to hook this up with a more permanent solution freeing up your faucet and keeping hoses out of your face. I highly recommend this machine and everything comes out clean and dry.

Makes apartment living so much easier!

Would highly recommend if you want a smaller dishwasher still plenty of space.  If you have a newer faucet adapting it is easy and when running it besides when the water draines but thats fine, it it super quiet

I used to wash dishes by hand until my husband had a heart attack. I work 12 hour shifts and coming home to do dishes after cooking was just too much. I can comfortably put our dishes into the dishwasher and simply push 2 buttons and go to bed. It's quieter than I thought it would be and the splash from the discharge is minimal. I have limited counter space so this machine fits nicely where my dish drain used to be. The cycles seem a little long to me but it's been awhile since I've used one so 1 1/2 hr may be normal.

Great time saver

I've been running this baby for more than 5 months now And still runs good as new. Best investment for my apartment. Real does a stellar cleaning job. I live in a one bedroom apartment but my girlfriend is a professional chef and professional chefs make professional messes. My apartment kitchen sink is so tiny so any dishes can overwhelm. Well now I never have to worry about that again because this washing machine helps me keep up. Attached a photo of it with a messy sink before loading. I have a super small kitchen lucky it fits fine.

Packs a punch! Loving it months later

I love this item!!! Simple and easy setup no tools required and hook up to sink is so easy!!! and not complicated!! I have carpal tunnel in both my wrists so I bought this and had dishes done every load in 45 min and it was so easy to set up alerts you if you don't have sink attachment (mom brain) and shuts off automatically i can set it back up and drains water for washing every 5 min clean dishes every time if your looking for a countertop dishwasher this is the one you'll love!!!! My moms even considering getting one its the nicest cheaper price I've come across from Amazon and Google shopping delivery was long (i wanted to have it so bad if you know know you know) it's so convenient and simple dishes became fun again and easy and hopefully carpal tunnel issues in my wrists will slow down I highly recommend this item for anyone and its quite till water comes out but it'll let you know when it's done with wash cycle and it prevents over flowing

Easy set up convenient no tools required love it!

Runs very well and is very quiet.  However, a person has to realize that it is a small dishwasher which cannot accommodate larger dishware.  Very light so easy to move if necessary.  Came with everything needed to hook it up and directions are more than adequate.  Love it.

I Love this product! I do wish the interior was a little taller as my plates are about 10 1/2 inches wide so they lean over rather than being upright. so because they lean, i cant get quite as many dishes in, but it is still a great product and worth the money! I love the different time options! I live in an Apartment, so I love the fact that it fits on a wheeled metal cart so I can move it around my kitchen to get it out of the way when needed so I can use my countertops for other things!

Great Product!

Cleans very well, even got rid of old coffee stains in my cups. Capacity is just right for two or three people. Be sure to measure your space before you purchase. Our kitchen cabinets to counter height was an inch too short to place it on the counter so we have it on a free standing cabinet right next to the sink. Also was a great conversation piece for our Thanksgiving crowd, no one had ever heard of a countertop dishwasher.

Good Dishwasher for small kitchen

Just got it and its dented.  Paid for a brand new model and they sent me a dented one.  

Absolutely unbelievable.  This couldn't have been dented after they packaged it.  


No time or energy to fight and wait for the ACTUAL brand new undented model i paid for.   


As far as use....so far it works and I needed it.  But I am not happy about getting a damage model when I paid for a new one.

A very large brick that wets dishes and takes valuable kitchen space. Easy to hook up, everything included.  uses kitchen faucet, has built in pressure (househood water pressure moot) heats water to temperature (can use cold tap) make sure your dishes are CLEAN, WASHED AND SOIL FREE BEFORE PUTTING IN. if you have a single roguelike morsel that slips in, it will be evenly spread and dried fast to ALL dishes inside. This feature I enjoyed most. Hand washing the dishes after I put them in a moist chamber for 1 hour 50 minutes (longest run time) shortest run time is a rinse, does not open detergent door. 
Basically this unit is for a pretentios home that has a bar in basement. It is meant for cleaning bar glasses, wine glasses and nosh trays. REGULAR SIZED DINNER DISHES WILL NOT FIT. REGULAR SIZED CEREAL BOWLS WILL NOT FIT.  Land of the Giants here in America I guess, we in good faith bought new square dinner plates so we could use this blessed white elephant and I ended up using it to hang my latex dish gloves from the door. BTW it died 1 year 1 month after purchase, has 1 year manufacturers warranty. hmmm. So if you disregard my warnings make sure to get a protection plan. No it is not a good choice for an RV either. you can literally hand wash every dish you own before this spits out your newly wet and soiled crockery. There is no way to stack or cram 6 place settings unless you buy the EXACT dishes pictured in diagram included by manufacturer. Magic Chef and he made a dishwasher for leprechauns. I should have known because the original order was messed up and they sent me a 6 bottle wine cooler instead of this. (now that was fun explaining to customer Service, but it worked out)I turned in on insurance after last wash was prematurely cancelled when it started smelling like melting plastic and display became sentient. I love my dishes hate this thing. Walmart honored the protection plan without flaw, I did not get full amount back and I have to pay to have this taken by Rubish Technicians. Recycling wont take. hint: READ internal size specs. and then DONT BUY THIS NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOUR EGO TELLS YOU THAT YOURS WILL BE DIFFERENT.
for $200.00 save up and buy a full size or roll about. or rent to own. Thank You walmart and Allstate for not letting me carry this burden I purchased. I blame Magic Chef for selling junk not Walmart for carrying it.
